The Speak Out Team are working with the creative writing group at Welland Park Academy and came up with a brief to “Write a letter that you will never send”.
Dear Dr. Seuss,
You are my favourite author. You have made many excellent books such as Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, How the Grinch stole Christmas, One fish two fish red fish blue fish, Horton hears a who, Green eggs and ham. My personal favourite book of yours is Cat in the Hat, I really like Thing 1 and Thing 2. I think that Mike Myers as The Cat, and Amy Hill as Mrs Kwan is simply perfect. I also liked Danny DeVito in the Lorax. It shares an especially important message over deforestation and modern society’s consumerism. However, I do have a question, is Danny DeVito the same height as the Lorax, because Danny DeVito is 4” 10’ and I do not know how tall The Lorax is.
