HCYC is a registered charity that helps vulnerable and isolated children and young people across the Harborough District by running various different projects and activity sessions – including Speak Out.
The charity enables young people from different backgrounds to come together and develop skills in a safe, friendly environment. Our website and magazine wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of the local community, charities and independent businesses.
We operate on a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund which has helped expand our project and raise awareness. This develops the opportunities we offer and has supported us in building this website for the Speak Out Project. However, this will only last for a limited amount of time.
So, why donate?
Here at Speak Out we believe young people are the future. It’s our mission to make the quality of life for young people better. You can help us to do this by a small donation.
Donations will help go towards our aims of:
- Funding a promotional video and creating material to expand our reach and engage more young people. From there we can help others.
- Increasing our print run so that more schools can circulate the magazine for reading and we can reach more people across the Harborough District.
- Helping to maintain our website and make it fully accessible to the target audience over the coming years.
- Planning for the start of Speak Out charity events.
