Field in winter

Echoes in solitude

For this edition our creative writing brief was: Write a story or a poem in a genre of your choice to go with the title “The Missing Person”. This is one of our entries from Welland Park Academy.

“I wake up on a chilly morning to a cold winters breeze on my face. I find myself isolated in the middle of a field, with only my thoughts overtaking me. Breathing in the sound of nature with only the birds chirping across my ears. I finally realise the isolation became more real. I am worrying as the thought comes across my mind. I started to panic, knowing I was missing.”

Please note: All articles written by young people are fictional in nature and nothing is to be taken as fact.
