CAMHS is the name for the NHS services that assess and treat young people with emotional, behavioural or mental health difficulties. A referral is needed by a clinician.
This service is for people of all ages across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland – including existing and previous service users and people who have never used mental health services before. The CAP phone service is not an emergency service.

Childline is to help anyone under 19 in the UK with any issue they’re going through. You can talk about anything. Whether it’s something big or small, their trained counsellors are there to support you. On the website there is information to help with topics such as home and families, feelings, you and your body, school and college and more. You can even sign up and create your own ‘locker’ which is your personal place on Childline. You can customise how it looks, write in your journal, chat with counsellors and join message boards.
Health for Teens introduces a new and different way for young people aged 11-19 to learn about their health. The website features bite-sized information on a comprehensive range of physical and emotional health topics for teenagers, including healthy eating, body image, managing stress, advice on relationships, puberty, sexuality and much more. Movie clips, audio snippets and quizzes make the site engaging and interactive, and young people are able to share content easily with their peers via social media.
Hope Again is a safe place where you can learn from other young people how to cope with grief and feel less alone.
Here you will find information about services on offer, a listening ear from other young people and advice for any young person dealing with the loss of a loved one.
This is a service that offers advice, assistance, and emotional and practical support. It offers information and help for young people and the non-abusing parent through a programme of play and educational activities designed to improve social skills, self-esteem and cooperative play. Also, JADA+ Therapeutic Services offer a confidential, safe, non-judgemental and empathic environment in which children and young people can share and explore challenges that they are experiencing, allowing them to move forward.

The lonely Not Alone universe is a safe place for young people to share their stories and to connect with others who’ve had similar experiences and may have found a way to make things better; to know none of us are alone. This interactive website allows you to share your story anonymously and read other people's experiences.
The Mix can help 13–25-year-olds take on any challenges you are facing - from mental health to money, from homelessness to finding a job, from break-ups to drugs. You can talk via the online community or through the free, confidential helpline or our counselling service.
