Last June, we spent time reflecting on GRT History Month. The theme for this year was “Who inspires you?”
We explored this theme through activities that encouraged the children and young people to think about who their personal heroes are. Many chose to turn their mums, dads, and grandparents into superheroes – people they look up to and admire.
We also spent time learning about family trees, exploring different places where people live, and having rich conversations about the things that are special and meaningful in their cultures.
Here are some photos capturing these wonderful moments – children proudly sharing their superheroes, creating family trees, and celebrating the uniqueness of their backgrounds.
Each image tells a story of inspiration, pride, and connection.
